Some Great Stuffs (31/7/10)

This is a great short passage I've read and I wanted to share it with you.

Vitamins for the Mind
by Jim Rohn

Neglect

We've all heard the expression, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Well, I've got a good question for you: What if it's true? Wouldn't that be easy to do—to eat an apple a day? Here's the problem: It's also easy not to do.

Neglect starts out as an infection then becomes a disease.

Cardiovascular problems alone in America create over a thousand funerals a day... and 90% of the problem is neglect.

One of the reasons many people don't have what they want is neglect.

B.A.C. Tips # 4

First of all, B.A.C. Tips will be back on for every week. Sorry for the past few weeks that there is no B.A.C. Tips.

Now let's get straight to the point. B.A.C. Tips #4, Reflect.

Take time everyday to reflect on what you did the past few days, what you have learned. Think about how you can do things better, how you can apply what you learned.

Start with a week. At the end of the week, take half an hour to reflect on your week. Then, at the end of every month, reflect again on the whole month. Think and plan on how to apply the material in the future. Slowly increase this habit to everyday, take a few minutes before you sleep to reflect on your day.

Keep a journal to help to record your reflection. At the end of the year, read back your journal. You may find inspiration and motivation.

Reflect, Rereflect, Rerereflect.

The Mirror is the tool that only tell you who you are outside.
Your MIND is the best tool to show you who you are inside and outside.

Run the tapes Again.

Event Design - Orientation Party July 2010

With the theme of ALL STAR, the CREATIVISTS is delightful to contribute our creative juice in the hall design.
Lots of limitation came to us and we turned it into an opportunity for creativity and doing things differently. As a collaborator of TLSUC Student Council, we are in charged of the whole layout of the hall, stage backdrop design, entrance backdrop design and the party night experience.
